Today I am sharing my Butterfly Card…it is inspired from watching all the butterflies and dragonflies that have been flying in and out of our bushes over the last few days.
I began by applying distress oxide ink on my craft sheet; misting and dabbing white card stock on to each color ink; drying between color applications.
Once the distress oxide ink is dry; stamp Sin City Stamps Grunge Background Stamps using black ink to top of prepared background paper.
Lay stencil on top of prepared stamped background; apply paste with palette knife. Dry.
Adhere to top of 4″ x 5 1/2″ card base.
Apply distress oxide ink on to white card stock; dry.
Stamp Sin City Stamps Small Butterfly Stamp twice to prepared background with black ink.
(Sin City Stamps Small Butterfly Stamp is available for $2.00 a piece in the store.)
Add chipboard frame to front of card.
Add one of the prepared butterflies to the insert of the frame.
Fussy cut second butterfly; add to top of frame at body.
Bend wings up to make it look like it is flying.
Adhere bow and twine to top of cards….
Along with pretty flowers.
